Eco Friendly

Most of us are following the movement from drinking water out of the tap to now drinking only bottled water. Presently, Drink Bottles Range is focussed on keeping our Planet as healthy as we can. That begins with becoming "eco-friendly". We can start by adding less waste to our landfills. One easy way is to start using reusable water bottles instead of using dozens of plastic water bottles per week. Reusable "eco-friendly" water bottles come in all sizes and are made of plastic, glass and stainless steel. Using these types of reusable bottles as often as possible is one way to help our planet stay healthy.

Stainless steel bottles use Less Electric Power than Aluminium Bottles and Less Carbondioxide in Air.

BPA Free

There has been much publicity around the globe lately on the safety of traditional plastic drink bottles and the issue of BPA. But what does it all mean and what are the risks in using conventional plastics for drink bottles?

BPA stands for bisphenol-A, which is a synthetic chemical used in the production of polycarbonate plastics throughout the world. Polycarbonate is used in the production of many different kinds of products, from DVD's to water bottles and conventional drink bottles. The problem with polycarbonate is that studies by reputable bodies have found that the BPA found in them leach out and into liquid or food contained within, especially when polycarbonate is heated.

Studies have also linked exposure to these chemicals - which rapidly leach out of plastic bottles when they are exposed to a hot liquid - to damage in developing brains and tissues as well as a heightened risk of cancer later in life (in particular breast and prostate cancers).

So why take the risk?? Our bottles, caps and printing inks are 100% BPA free and are made from eco-friendly, food grade material. For your satisfaction we can even provide you with our material safety data sheets!

Food Grade Material

All our bottles are made from premium food grade material, the kind used in your pots and pans and in the brewing and dairy industries. Stainless steel is an inert material – meaning it won’t react with its environment. It is highly sanitary and safe, so doesn’t require a liner like aluminium bottles. We are committed to providing you the best quality stainless steel bottle in the industry and if you have any issues with our product we want you to let us know.

Solvent Free Inks

We use UV ink to print our bottles. UV Curable screen printing ink is a 100% solid system: that is, it essentially does not contain solvent that must evaporate during the curing phase. The cure takes place through the interaction of the ink ingredients and a strong UV (ultra violet) light source in a dryer, or more accurately, a reactor.

Since UV contains little or no solvent, there is a lot of interest in using it because of the lack of VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Either reducing VOCs or eliminating the need to report them both have appeal. The reduction in VOCs also has an appealing environmental effect
